I've got this one called The Beast "the hottest thing this side of hell". burns a hole in my gut just thinking about it. My lady picked it up for me in Tenn. on business. I was tired of getting airport souvenire baseball hats from places I have not been, very nice for a change.

I have to say that Dave's Insanity is one of the best!!!

If you like hot stuff garb some habaneros
deseed them
partially cook some bacon
stuff the habs with cream cheese and chives
wrap in bacon
grill for 15 - 20 minutes using indirect heat

ENJOY!!! Not for wimps.

Anything hotter than Dave's Insanity sauce is probably toxic and should be avoided ... I like hot and spicy, but a single drop of Dave's Insanity is pretty much the limit of tolerance for me ...

The hotter the better! Love the Habenero sauces best of all, and I really think Dave's Insanity Sauce is totally insane! Wow!

Similar to smoking a Joya de Nicaragua Antano!

I was at a chili cookoff last year and passed a woman who was frantically fanning her open mouth. I asked where she got that chili, and on the table next to the booth was a bottle of Dave's, which I proceeded to upend into the hottest chili at the cookoff.

I seriously thought I was going to have to go to the hospital.

My hottie is Spontaneous Combustion, ever tried that? It's impossible for me to imagine that Dave's could be hotter than that. It's distilled capsicum which i'm sure is the same thing Dave uses... a couple drops (yes drops) in a bowel full of whatever is all you need.

Blair's Sudden Death Sauce and Endorphin Rush will both tear you a new one. Just a few drops will do a whole pot of chili. My nephew was in agony for about an hour after dipping, and wiping off, a toothpick into the Endorphin Rush bottle. And sometimes there can be an exit wound, as well.

I have a bottle of Spontaneous Combustion. Have to say that Dave's is a little hotter and has a much better flavor. Been thru about 50 bottles of the stuff and always go back to Dave's.

Indeed, Spontaneous does not add flavor, it ONLY adds heat... And it's hard for me to imagine someone who needs/could enjoy more heat than this $hit adds...

Living in New Mexico, I've found that once it goes from hot to painful... it's not fun to eat. When it takes 20 minutes to recover from one bite, you're sweating, sent the waiter off for your third pitcher of water and the whole gallon of milk, your lips are on fire and you just know tomorrow won't be fun... that's not a pleasurable dining experience.

To each their own... however.

GB, that's when it's fun! You have to be the hero sometimes!

One time I ate these chicken fingers with a kryptonite sauce. The sauce was a paste, filled with nothing but habanero seeds. It was hotter than insanity sauce, and I thought I was going to die. But I couldn't let my friends down, and I was the hero of the night :)

I make the stuffed habbies for folks here at work. Some may call it sadistic but a group of us just love getting the unsuspecting to try one. We tell them up front that it is hot... but most have no clue what HOT is - until they eat one of my peppers.

I love Haberneros and I call it sadistic! I cannot imagine some poor unsuspecting person eating one of those and not knowing what was about to hit them!

I eat peppers every day. Tony has got the take on it to me. Cooking any pepper take the flavor down some and seeding does too. Also agree with the Insanity sauce, HOTTTTT, But not my thing just no flavor to most of those high octane sauces, just HOTTTTTT.

Paradise Sushi, one of our local favorites has an item called "Satan's Handroll !!!" I regularly eat Habaneros, Jalepenos etc. raw, but this thing is just not right. I challenge any of you Bay Area guys to eat one. Expect to take the next day off if you do.

My regular is Crystal blue label, I use on eggs in burgers, wings. I had a bottle of Lynchburgh w/ JD in it but my wife broke the bottle on the tile floor brought a tear to my eyes in cleaning it up. Did not get to try it. Has anybody tried that one?

My vote goes to Blairs Sudden Death and Dave's. Funny that you all mentioned them, I always thought those were small batch hot sauces. I don't vote for them to be the best tasting unless liquid blowtorch is a flavor. But they are fun to bring out when someone asks for some hot sauce.

I tried Tabasco Habanero...it was pretty good. Takes a few drops to get the heat up but the taste was great.

On Mexican food I prefer lots of Cholula hot sauce.

hey people...info that not everyone may be aware...here in San Antonio picante sauce ...hot sauce to the rest of the world is a basic staple...when the sauce is too picoso for the membranes in the mouth ..a more effective treatment than water and/or ice ...is to put a pinch of salt in the mouth...thought some might like to know...enjoy ...phenix
