Do you have a comlicated program (like PhotoShop), or just a basic program (like Image Expert, etc.) ...

Easiest way is to just resize them by half ... but if you have PhotoShop or something similar, it will ask when you save it if want to save it as a low, medium, high or maixium file ... low being the smallest. Medium usually works fine for me ...

Another way is to 'crop' out all the unecessary fluff ...

Also when saving you're picture make sure you save it as a .jpg or .gif and not a .bmp. Bitmaps will take up alot of space versus the other two mentioned

Martini, Slim & mrsanmrfox are both correct. When you view your pick at 100%. If its larger than your screen, then you should crop it down. Or lower the file size like slim said.

With Image expert, which is VERY user friendly. When you go to 'save as' you can compress the files to a smaller KB size. Like slim said usually you can choose small, medium, or large file size.

Hope this helps...:>)
