Have you traded with smithbw yet ???

I'm sure he would be happy to work up a little sampler trade for you. This way, you can try several before comitting to a full box of something that you may not enjoy...

Hope this response is OK with you, Billy Boy...

Low - My Brother - Always lookin for a trade or two.

cccbus - If it was me and I was going to buy a box of Havana's without sampling a few....I recommend the Montecristo Number 2, RyJ Number 3, or Bolivar Corona.

These are great gars and reliable in construction, draw, burn, complexity etc. etc. etc. Or I would setup a trade with smithbw =) He might have a few different ideas!

ccc,

Go the trade route. Try before you buy.

I can part with a couple if you're interested.

Fonseca No #1 6 3/8"x44 Lonsdale -

IMHO - that's the best one ever - by far one of the least expensive ones - but wow !!!

Way to go Rocco. I know from personal experience that Rocco takes good care of his ISOMs.

ccc........If you are still interested in adding more to your ISOM experience email me and I'll be glad to help.

CCC,

Turnberry has a much better selection than I do. Work a trade with him if you can.

I think that you will really enjoy trading for the ISOM's instead of buying. After you get a chance to smoke the different sticks you will be in a better position to decide which sticks are worth buying.

Turnberry,

Thanks for the kind words. Good to see you back on the boards. BTW - I'm golfing Kemper Lakes tomorrow.

I've done so many ISOM trades in the past month that I've almost depleted my supply. But its all for the best, I've gotten to try a lot of great sticks that I might not have bought myself.

Time to restock soon.

Rocco...
I am envious about the Kemper Lakes outing. Haven't crossed that one off the list yet. We will have to make it an event sometime when I get in your neck of the woods.

Had two pretty good rounds this past weekend. Out ahead the pack as a single at 6:00 on Fri and Sun morning with a thermos of coffee and good morning cigars. Both rounds done in 3 hours in time for breakfast with the family.

Hit 'em straight! And by the way I have so far succeeded in letting the Boli coronas nap comfortably. Their time will come.

CCC,

I got your package yesterday. Nice selection. I don't think that I've had the opportunity to try any of the sticks you sent, so they will all be a new experience. Thanks for the great selection. I see that you like the big sticks. Hell, a couple of them barely fit in the humi.

I don't have a problem getting Cubans here in Germany. I thought most people in the states ordered them from Canada's host of websites... I like Cohibas and Monticristos. I had a problem with the draw and burn on an H.Uppman I picked up in Luxembourg though. I hope it was only a single incident.
