I've got several La Lunas that I picked up here and there. I've got one that says "de la habana" under the la luna name on the band. Is this the LHB? I thought those were unbanded. Any help would be appreciated.

Tailgater,------La Luna used to be called La Luna De La Habana. No ISOMs involved. The company is still called La Luna but now functions under Gaeluna International Ltd. The original Little Havana Blend was banded with the blue and gold label with the words La Luna De La Habana on it. The original LHB was banded, boxed and celloed. Gael keeps all his cigars in Miami aging in his humidor in Mazos of fifty and bands them etc. when shipping out boxes. I believe when he blew out the LHB he bundled the cigars without bands. The bundles do say De La Habana on them too.----------There were other blends with similar labels on them too so the smoke you have may or may not be a LHB.------------Have you tried La Lunas latest? The African Fuerte line is a great Cameroon smoke. Ocat says yummy!--------------Aloha, Scott

Ditto on any La Luna cigar ... great cigar and great people to deal with. You call their number and you reach the president or their cigar master.

Last weekend, I smoked a La Launa African Fuerte #4 perfecto, followed (the next day) by a Boly RC (which has always been one of my very favorites). I liked the La Luna better.

La Luna's head honcho Gael deCourtivron has started a thread called Hello I'm Gael.

I recommend that you ask your questions on that thread. It looks like you'll get a detailed answer straight from the horse's mouth.
