Rick, you mean you havent been to see the LA Extreme play a game? Well, neither have I and I doubt they will be around much longer. McMahon has too good of a thing (for money) going in WWF to complicate it much longer with the blundering XFL.

I agree Charlie. The XFL sucks. Actually it was a great idea having another 12 weeks of football after the Super Bowl but who would have known that they'd pick a buch of hoodlums. The first and only game I saw (I couldn't bear get past the first half) proved to me that it was more about theatrics than anything else. Just take a look at some of the names and you'll get my drift (He Hate Me?). I'll be happy to see it go so I can watch something else that night (even another Iron Chef would be better than that)......Brent

I don't think that pro football can exist outside the NFL. I know, that sounds short sighted, but look at the Pro Bowl. It's the week after the superbowl and nobody watches. NFL is a grueling 17 weeks plus playoffs. Feb and March are a short recouperation before the mid April Draft. Then free agent signings and trades occupy the die hard, until sometime in June when training camp starts. Injury reports, Rookie progress, Coaching changes, and off-field trouble seem to fill the void until late July when preseason begins. We don't need another 12 weeks, and even if we did, it wouldn't be this bunch of hyped up punks with no talent. Televise NFL Europe so we can watch the modern day "farm system". That should satisfy the unsatiated...
