I bid on one of these out of curiosity. I mean...look at that thing! Smoked it yesterday and while the size is completely rediculous I actually kinda liked it. It was smooth and had a very creamy taste to it. However, when it hit that bulge it started to burn hot, became a pain to smoke, and the flavor changed. I liked the first quarter of the cigar though. Question - Are the other Natural lines similar in taste? I'm not familiar with drew estate smokes but I'd smoke another one of these if it came in a normal size.

Sum,

Every Drew Estate cigar is different in everyway. The taste, smell, and construction. Especially when you go from natural to acid and to sub culture. I personally like all the cigars I smoked that Drew Estate produces. If you start smoking different varieties of Drew Estate you will definately see a difference in everyone. IMHO

I've only tried the Egg once. Had a hard time keeping it lit, but I attribute that to the fact that I was smoking it on the beach. It was a decent novelty cigar.

My favorite Natural cigar is the Root. If you get a chance to sample one of these, dont pass it up. Its a decent smoke.

Has anyone tried the Drew Estate Mixed Elements? Judging only on the decent bid on the boxes, between $50 and $60, somebody likes them. Never seen a 5 pack at auction, though. Like to try a couple before I spring for a box, if you know what I mean. LG
