I know Slim is one, is anyone else and how long until the contacted you. The shops close to me in Indiana do not sell BUCANERO so I wanted to try and bring them here, but I have tried to contact them 3 times with no reply. Are they just really busy or what?

Yes ... they are really busy this point in time. They are in the process of releasing three new lines, and Robert just got back from his 'tour of cigar events' (and his vacation), and there is still a lot of work that needs to be done before the RTDA ... so that said, they are pretty swamped right now.

Robert is the one who handles the 'Ambassador Program', so try to call him again. I know he's back home now ... as he called me this morning.

So try again ... and be patient.

Oh ... and the word of the day is ... 'Miscelleanous' Board ...

I had to point that out, so Robby wouldn't give me another 'titty-twister' ... LOL!

Way to go Barry ... another prime example of 'class-act' customer service!

I had sent the email just to the customer service like the website said. I will go and email you directly so you can tell me.

and Slim

I pondered which board to put this on, I thought heck it was about cigars and their advancement into the world and thought I picked correctly. It was a 50 / 50 shot.

Hey, at least he's on his way to becoming an Ambassador. If that were me, I probably would've wrote the same message on all the boards.

What's a lil' "Slim-slap" between friends?

I am also a "semi" Ambassador.. I have been contacting some places in my area, several irons in the fire, but haven't struck a deal yet. I'll keep pounding the pavement.

HOW can they not bring in the Bucanero line ???

Lowman,

I'm with you there, but have run into some resistance at one place.

Same here ... but hang in there.

The economy right now has a lot to do with it ...

Retailers being inundated with cigars is another factor.

I am in the process. My tobacconist says there is no room in the humi... They are moving to a bigger location in a couple of months so I am hoping... or I told him he could always throw out some of the garbage he has in the humi.

Just keep after if AZ-Ron. The shop closest to my house just wouldn't go for the Bucs. I tried, Robert tried and she finally just gave me her samples muttering something about, "That guy calls here all the time". I never could figure out what the deal was. I gave up on her. I have a friend that recently bought a shop and the first thing I did was put him in touch with Bucanero. He's placed an order and can't wait to meet up with the good people from Buc at the RTDA show in Nashville.

I was contacted by Robert and he sent me some samples. I have a meeting with on local shop. He told me he was interested in them. This could turn out very nice. I am glad I didn't give up or just get upset and forget about the whole thing. Who knows, I could get a whole box.

Important key is to stay on top of him. I had to with my local guy and it paid off.
