Burned one last night which I have had resting for about a year now.

I cannot believe how good this cigar was.

Incredible! Incredible! Incredible.

The smoothness and creaminess along with the Havana twang that I so dearly love made this experience one that will live in my heart for a long time.

Yep, sure is.

A robusto, Cigar Aficionado gave it an 88 and said of it

"A good looking robusto with a smooth, woody flavor and a hint of leather. Some inconsistency was noted."

Just out of curiosity, how many ISOMs do all you forum visitors keep in your humi(s)? From reading posts, it sounds like everyone has a good supply, but I just want to know out of all your cigars you guys keep, how many are from that certain island to the south?

I do not believe in cigar ratings. This gar absolutely blew me away. It was tremendous! Believe me when I tell you that an 88 is far too low - from my prospective.

I agree. Everyone has their own tastes and likes.

Plus, it seems to me like some cigars completely make up their ratings in their advertisements!

Example, Onyx Reserve claimed to have gotten a 94 in Cigar Aficionado or Cigar Insider. I looked it up, and no Onyx Reserve ever scored that high (except in my mind, 'cuz I like them).
