Any box of cigars you buy from Thompsons is damaged.

You gotta be "damaged" in the head to actually purchase ANYTHING cigar-related from Thompson's...Oops...I think I violated the terms of service here, disparaging or "telling the truth" about another business

I can't bitch about $20 for 24 Sinatra. Cedar box was broken but the sticks were fine. They do tend to be high much of the time but given that I can walk in and pick thru the goodies....got a good deal on a humidor/cigar package for a gift for a newbie, I buffed the scratches out & swapped a few of the heavier smokes for milder ones (gotta protect the newbie, right?) So $40 for a nice box with 25 asst'd sticks. I'd never pay their regular prices if I had to add shipping to it.

first they turned me off with their high pressure sales tactics. I ordered one box from them two years ago, after the manufacturer told me to call them to get the cigar I was after. After that they started calling my home while I was at work trying to sell cigars to my wife. Not to mention they sent the wrong cigars to begin with, and then sent the right cigars to my home instead of work which I repeatedly told them to, and the postman left the box in the snow. I still get their useless catalogs. How's that for a good old fashioned rant?

I also ordered once and only once from them, years ago. They also called my house at least a dozen times with sales calls trying to get me to join their cigar club. Each time they called I asked to be removed from their list. I finally had to call and speak to a "manager" to get them to stop....very annoying! Their prices speak for themselves.

Thompsons is a bad buy at any price. You moght as well sell your soul to the devil as do business with them. The are notorious for "false advertising". Buy their packages, which show decent to good cigars in the picture, but receive $h!t sticks. Oh, they can substitute cigars at their option.

If all cigar places of business were run like Thompson's, I would quit smoking cigars! I smoke at least one a day! Of course, I can make that threat knowing that they are all not like Thompson's-Thank God! Charlie
