While I would love to have an unobstructed view of my stash, would this be the best way to store cigars long term? Just curious on what some of you think. I guess it wouldn't be much different than a coolerdoor, right (other than the fact that a coolerdoor is nearly airtight)? Do you think this thing would "breathe" like a cedar lined humi?

Also, what the heck is crawling out the front of the humidor? It looks like a big ant!!!

It probably would work ok, but a friend of mine told me that if it is going to be in the sun it can dry out the smokes. It's just what I heard. Some think I was crazy for getting my humidor built with American Cedar, but I trust the guy doing the building and it works and looks great so see what the more knowledgeable crowd says. Good Luck Rob

Hey Man,
IMHO, a coolerdor is very much superior, to the display humidor. It also blocks UV rays which can be harmful, even in difused light. If you want a coolerdor to "breath", open it every couple of days. I can't stay out of mine, much longer than that. Not to mention, a coolerdor also minimizes temperature fluctuations, much better.

Ahhhhhhhh, now I see the keys. Looked like a big ant to me. Nothing worse than a big ant running off with your sticks. ...and you thought beetles were bad.

Yeah, I sort of thought it looked a little cheesy. Wouldnt be for me anyway. My sister's fiance is getting into cigars and was looking for a humidor. I was just browsing and ran into this one. Never saw it on here before.

A few months ago, I bought the Indulgence 500ct Table humi. I love it. I put it in the living room so I can look through the glass and drool while I'm watching TV. I'd recommend that one to him, but I think it will be a while before he accumulates 500 cigars (unless I get him addicted to CBID). The sis would love that.

Thanks, Ras & Low. I put that one on my watch list. Looks like a nice one. I think he'd like the glass top.
