Has anyone heard of or tried these? I only found them at one web site. I obviously can't post it here but do a search on yahoo and you'll find them. They look and sound very intriguing, and the price just cant be beat!

J.R. got his hands on the new "Medio Tiempo" wrapper, because,it was grown for Altadis, who now owns villizon in Corfidia. i guess J.R.'s,made it a happen with his buddy E. Padron.Susposed to be a "full bodied" smoke. They are verrry! affordable.Take a chance. 96

i was gifted a box of the Belinda Black equisitos from a cigar lottery.

very good! nice fuller body vs. regular belindas

BTW, the Medio Tiempo wrapper comes from Daniel Nuñez of General Cigars, which owns Villazon, not Altadis. the same wrapper is on the Partagas Black

i definately recommend these 'gars, especially for the price

supposed to be the same wrapper as on the partagas blacks. tried one but the jury is still out. alas, i cannot make a decision on just one cigar.
but i like the regular belinda maduros so i might well like these...

I've been hoping for a Belinda maduro since the old Blue Bands dried up.I'm ready to trade for some, especially Brevas la Conserva. If you're tired of those nasty old gars,e-mail me at 'my handle' at Yahoo.com

BTW,how about Ammolindas with this wrapper?

Just got a box in on Thursday and will give them a big thumbs up. Damn fine cigar, good body, and great to the nub.

I received my box of 20 in the mail on Friday. The Esquistio ( Maduro 6x 50) arrived in a nice looking black box with a stamp on the bottom that said “May 2002”. The construction is top notch as usual being from the Villazon factory and it just “smells” like a good cigar. It is my understanding the wrapper is the same as the one used on the Partagas “Black”. The draw was perfect and this smoke was tasty from start to nub. The description is this is a med-full favored cigar. I would say more to the medium side of the scale IMHO. This “best buy” cigar stacks up to many higher priced maduros and will now be in my regular rotation which includes Padron M, Flor de Oliva Grand Maduro, Mayorga M, ERDM, Bacanero Full Sail, Hyo M, Tambor Don Douglas M, Oliva “O” M.

I'm on my second box. Good solid cigars with nice fuller flavor. Not spectacular, but as others have said, a great deal for the price.

Not to praise the competition, but last fall the 800lb. gorilla said he thought the Blacks would be ready for Christmas. Instead,he delayed the release another five months. Nice move,I've put a box away and will get another based on his judgement they needed more time, rather than hustle me into buying them before they were,in his opinion, ready to sell.

In the meantime,I'll be interested to learn which Connie # the Belinda Blacks may be offered under.
