If it's not one thing it's another! I had a lovely root canal done and the dentist wasn't able to successfully remove all of the nerve...SO I had to have an even MORE pleasant experience...$700.00 worth of oral surgery to go in and remove the tip of the root and the rest of the nerve. Now I have a swollen, bruised cheek from the dental assistant who was relentless in her duties AND the dentist went through 5 carbide drill bits trying to remove the root. It was so HORRIBLE he didn't charge me! What a guy...now I actually have a black eye from all of the swelling. Needless to say HOG, I have been unable to lit up. I apologize for the long explanation, but I needed to vent! I was thinking of you last weekend. We have a '99 Mustang GT drop-top that we just purchased in August. We wanted to go up to our local mountains with the kids for the day to the town of Julian. Well we went up, and did the routine of buying fresh bread at Dudley's Bakery and were going to stop and eat the famous Julian apple pie at one of the restaruants when we discovered about 1,000 bikers out for the day! I KNEW you weren't there, but still I looked! Anyway, the little 2 block town was so crowded that we didn't stop, we continued down the mountain to *blech* El Centro, CA. You would think you were in Mexico which I hate so we kept going! We kept the top down (it was about 90 degrees) and just enjoyed the ride. Luckily Rookie wasn't around to write us up for speeding! Then I came home to this nightmare. The good part is...the Vicadins are working! Maybe next weekend I finally be able to do the deed! Thanks for thinking about me! I hope y'alls weekend will be better than mine!

Wow...Ouch...........well I think you should wait a long while before you try smoking anything. I've been to Julian also. When I was working at Point Loma I did the trip up the hill to Julian. Nice drive. If it was 90 up there I can't imagine what it was like at sea level.

nice story. The fact that you know what a carbide drill is, is enough for me. ( I deal in the carbide industry) anyway, rest the tooth!!

TOP

I had a minute and was trying to find asa1's info for SteveS (he was in Salt Lake City at one point)...and I just found this old post...I've come a long way baby in the cigar world since then...

Interestingly enough, Wany was actually cordial...a first for him?

LOL,

Marla

4 out of 5 dentists, recommend, smoking cigars, instead of gum, to their patients that chew gum.
