eleltea --- Carlito said himself over at the CF forums that there definately would NOT be a Flor Fina 858 SG release for 2003 ... and was ambiguios about whether or not they would ever be released again ... but it didn't sound promising.
Intel --- yes, there was a Hemingway Classic Sun Grown that made its debut early this year. There were only 165 boxes released, and they went out to the winners of the Fuetne Display Contest. The two grand prise winners each received 10 boxes ... and the rest only five boxes.
The have long since been bought out by the connoisseurs and collectors ... unless any of those retailers have hoarded any of them ... and if you do find them ... they are going for an outrageous chunk of change. I've seen the on that 'other' auction site selling for $100 a stick ...
Talk has it ... it was a one time deal, and they were created just for the display contest. Some say that 'someday', they will go into production ... and will be just as elusive as the WOAM, UTS, BTL, Hemi Maddies, and the other 'seasonal' and limited releases offered by Fuente.
No one really knows for sure ... and those that do, aren't saying ...
And yes ... they are one incredible cigar, better than the 858SG, IMHO. I was lucky enough to aquire four of them, and ended up gifting out three, before I finally smoked the one I had left. In all honesty ... had I smoke one first ... I would still be sitting on the other three.
... such is life ... but I'm sure that those I gave them to, are still trying to recover from the 'shock and awe' of them ... LOL!
