Made for Europe only the Reserva Superior are a rich, superior quality cigar. Very similar to Don Carlos, these impeccably made cigars are well balanced and full of taste and flavor. Don Carlos has always been one of the all time great cigars and these Reserva Superiores have to be experienced.

These have just become available in the U.S.

Anyone out there tried them yet? I've heard that they are just Don Carlos ... but were made for the European Market, and no different than what we get here ...

... and, of course, I've heard that they are not the same.

Anyone know?

I have heard of them Slim, but never had one. If they are AF Don Carlos by another name, then they are great smokes...that is if you like the AF DC's, which happen to be one of my favorites.
Now of course, I have to search for one.

Smoked my 1st one today. WOW. They're definitely not a Don Carlos. Different wrapper and more full flavored. This is a great cigar.

IMHO the Don Carlos is the best Cameroon wrapped cigar made today. I'll have to inquire about this new Reserva Superior. Sounds like my kinda cigar.

coma-one --- I talked with someone at the place that sells them, and I was told they are just slightly different blends than the Don Carlos ... but basically the same cigar, just produced for the European market.

... the #3 and #2 are identical looking to their Don Carlos counterparts. I was told the #3 is heavier and richer than the usual DC #3, and it is an excellent smoke, and that it also gives off a perfumed aroma very similar to an ISOM Monte.

A big internet site, that is also a well known and established 'brick and mortar' ...

... and I believe, the only one that has them in the U.S. ... ;^)
