This is a good smoke. Priced right and has great flavor. Every now and the I smoke one that is even better and exceptional.
One of those was tonight. It was tasty right from the light. And was so smooth and put out clouds of creamy smoke. I smoked it to a 1/2 inch nub.
I think I paid $6 for a five pack. Do any of you smoke these? They are great... :>)

I bought a bundle of them before and gave most of them away. They did'nt burn well, the taste was very harsh, and they burned hot. It was a year ago so maybe they got better, but I won't try them again.Happy to hear you liked them.

I'm with you on these, Mag. I think they're a great smoke for the money. I've also noticed that slight variance from good to the occasional exceptionally good. I buy a five-pack every once in a while to keep a supply on hand. This is a cigar that's never done me wrong, which is all the more significant given the price.

I likes 'em. Sure they've got huge veins and burn a little erratic, but not bad enough to care. They've got good heft in the hand. There's a good (hate to say it) buttery flavor, and enough strength to be satisfying. They're good for when the subtleties of a more sophisticated cigar would be lost. I have not been disappointed yet.

They might not be great, but they are good ... particularly, as has been noted, for the $$ spent ... plus, in my experience, they ARE a cigar that derives a better than average benefit from a bit of humidor time ...

I bought a box of the Magnums (5.25x54) about 3 months ago. Very nice smoke and will probably become even better with more time in the humi. With the 4-5 I have smoked so far I have not experienced any harshness or bitterness.

I almost got rid of them after my first one. Too moist, uneven burn, hot, tongue-bite, etc. Fortunately I set them aside and tried another one after about 8 months in the humidor. A different cigar! I've smoked several of the aged ones since them and have enjoyed them all. Don't believe I can ever remember when aging made such a difference in a cigar.

Amazing what a little time in the humi will do. I had a box, burned one (uneven harsh no good) I gave half the box away. I was playing golf w/ a friend last week, gave him one, he raved about how good it was. I will try another real soon.

I really like these. Tried my first one during my first visit to the CI store. Smoked it at the store and was very pleased. It had good constuction, great draw and suprisingly good, but mild, flavor.
Bought a couple bundles from Cbid and the more they age the better they get. For the price they are a great smoke.

Agreed. This is a great value of a smoke. I've got the what's left of a bundle from over a year ago.
Still mighty tasty.

I think these are a fine cigar. Even slow burn, firm ash, great flavor all the way down. I think the Toros smoke a bit better than the Churchills but they are both better than average smokes.
