It's official Arnold will be California's next governor or at least run for governor.

I don't know why. Given the state's many problems why anyone would hitch their wagon and try to pull this one out of the muck is a mystery. He can't run for President, so this is it for him. I hope he can deliver the goods, but there's real hard work out there.

This is what James Caan had to say about that!!!

James Caan Weighs In

Actor James Caan recently shared with Esquire Magazine his thoughts on Hollywood celebs entering the political arena.

Appearing to summon up his Sonny Corleone character, Caan directed his comments at Arnold Schwarzenegger’s on-again, off-again gubernatorial ambitions.

“Nobody should give a s--- about an actor’s opinion on politics,” Caan said.

The Left Coast Report can only hope that some of the tin-eared in Tinseltown took notice.

More power to him. Reminds of another actor turned president. And he smokes cigars.

I think I'd have to hear him out. Just because he's an actor doesn't mean he doesn't have a brain. He might do some good he might not. And he might be the best shot at repealing some of those outrageous antismoking laws that Cali is known for. He hasn't pushed for it as far as I've heard. He's just saying he'll take a shot. He deserves a fair shot. I do have a problem with actors and actreses like Janine Garafalo. And the like that think just because they can get the air time, that I realy want to hear them bash the President for his efforts in Iraq. Or any of there political views. Arnie might not win but he's willing to take an office and do it the right way. Sorry I'll step off my soap box now.
