I bought a bundle of the coronas here in February and put them down for a little nap. Last week I brought them out of hibernation. They have become outstanding cigars way beyond what I had hoped. At less than a buck per stick this may be the best cigar deal I ever got. You guys who've salted these away like I did have a real nice treat waiting for you.

Did you try one at first? I did and felt they were dry and a bit harsh, but could see potential. I've had mine put away now for 2 months.

Jeez Lim,

The one you sent me was outstanding! Must've been asleep long enough. I picked up a bundle last week. Thanks buddy.

No, I put the unopened bundle in my coolerdor and didn't try one 'til last week. I've limited myself to 1 a day so I don't go through them too fast now.
Next I think I may bust open the bundle of Vega Talanga Reserva Tercios that I bought that same week.

Bought a bundle a while back. Somked one or two then. Thought they were pretty good. Been napping since then. Gotta pull one out and test it...

I keep coming back to these as one of my all-time favorites. That bundle I got a while ago as a CI special was probably one of the best deals I've come across. Every one has been a superbly made smoke that has tasted great. If I had to choose an everyday smoke, this one would be a top contender. I hope C-bid never depletes its supply of these "seconds."

I consider this and Signature Colletion cigars the best bargin buys on the planet. The Don Douglas and Don Kiki 2000? (red band) are great for REALLY cheap.

Thanks for reminding me about the Don Kikis. Also bought a bundle of them in Feb. They're good, huh? I guess Feb. was cheap bundle month for me. I buy these things, stick them in the coolerdor, then forget I have them.

I've purchased both the 1sts and 2nds. Believe me. There is absolutely no difference between them. The copy that reads the 2nds are off color is incorrect. I've bought bundles of every size and the color in each bundle is very consistent. Yes!! Emphatically, the bundles need some age. That's why they're cheap. Pay half the price of the firsts and put them down for a year. These are made by Henry Berger who also rolls Cupido, 5 Vegas, Adolphus, El Mejor, Don Kiki, and many more private labels.

Gotta bundle at the bottom of the igloodor. Haven't tried one yet but looking at the comments, I'm gonna fire one up this weekend. Had'em about four months now. Should be enough age.

I have had a 5-pack of these in the humidor for a few weeks and after reading this thread it made me finally breakdown and try one out. I agree that these are incredible for the price. They do seem a tiny bid young, but I will be more than willing to leave a few hanging around at the bottom of the humi for future enjoyment. I personally do not understand why Savinelli would drop these in the bargin bin as "seconds" the construction, draw, and taste was better than 75% of the "non-seconds".
