I didn't actually have a problem with humidity. My cigars and humidity are fine, and hygrometers accurate --- the only problem I have is maybe being bored and thinking too much.
My question was from the point of view of having dry air, and knowing that the water will eventually evaporate from the reservoir, not the other way 'round. I didn't ask the question very well. My indoor air is almost always dryish, from the A/C in the summer and from heating in the winter. I just wondered if a higher % water would make more water available in the reservoir, requiring less frequent replenishing. (Which agrees with your advice to use more PG in humid climes.)
Thanks for your comments.
