i've read much on this topic, and here's what i have to say. i am a more experienced drinker than smoker (LOL) so i drink what i like and match the stick to it. i drink french (boo) white burgandy, sapphire gin martinis, and single malt. why drink anything else!

with the burgandy i usually pick a fuente, monte-cristo or an ashton.
with the gin usually the new cao brazillia or maybe a punch or montequilla
with the scotch (cold weather drink) i reach for a partagas or cohiba (or some maduro in my size)
just a thought; and oh, i love when cbid uses ups for delivery. so much faster!

I really like ginger ale because it never over powers the cigar. Sorry to thread jack but does anyone elsespit a lot when they are smoking? I am used to drinking a lot and my mouth gets really dry I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

lol, you know I do!

Half the time, if I don't have a drink with my 'gar, it looks like I'm chewing dip along with my cigar

I am a port man myself. 20 yrs or better, 10 year in a pinch. Also, Australian tawnies taste older than they really are, so I would recommend checking them out if you are a port fan.
