These were the two cigars I had today so far.
I recently found a store that sells Padron cigars. I considered having a PAM today, but instead opted to try the regular Padron line first.
So I got a Padron #4000, which is about a churchill in size, and lit up in the story. It was mid-to-full-bodied and rich, but to me seemed a little harsh at the back of my throat, almost gravelly. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the 4000, so next time I'll just shell out the extra six bucks for a PAM.
Later that day, Godfather and myself found yet another local smoke shop which we immediately fell in love with. I hadn't planned on smoking again today, but since Godfather was having one, I couldn't resist.
I'd been wanting to try the Montecristo Serie V for a long time, but was put off by how small they were. Since this was a second smoke of the day, I decided to indulge in one of the little Serie V cigars.
I was impressed! I love the regular and cabinet Montecristos...but this one was nothing at all like it! It was very full-bodied, with a beautiful brown wrapper, and it seemed to me like it tasted very much like a hearty Cuban cigar. Needless to say, I was impressed.
