just received my box of belicoso won on auction. A wonderfully crafted cigar, and feels heavy in the hand, and solid. So construction A+. My question is, these are advertised as dark black. Mine are far from that, in fact, they are the same color as a cameroon wrapper, fairly dark brown. Any of the rest of you try these and how dark the wrapper?

Turn off the lights if the color bothers you. LJ is a GREAT smoke. Craftsmanship second to none. Enjoy!

I have a box of Toros, robustos and 1/2 box of Churchills. All are medium brown wrappers - Brazilian I think. They will, however, darken with age. These are all great sticks IMHO. BTW, would you be interested in swapping a few Beli's for a few of the other sizes? Email me at [email protected] Thanks

You know it's funny you mention it. I've noticed recently that Brazillian Maduro tends to be on the lighter side as well.

Makes no difference in flavor though! I still love the Brazillian Maduro. Oh hell who am I kidding? I love just about all maduro wrappers!
