Haven't seen this cigar mentioned on the board. I was visiting a tobacco shop and looking around for something new to try when I spotted it. I was primarily impressed by the presentation of the cigar in it's box and picked up a couple of double corona size. I have found it to be quite a flavorable smoke, with a rich taste and aroma. I did a little research and evidently it's made by Ashton. Quality in the two I bought was absolutely superb. Don't think it's a maduro (doesn't have the characteristic "maduro" taste), but it has a very dark wrapper. Has anyone else tried it? If so, what's your opinion? It's a little pricey but no more so than some other premium cigars I've bought. BTW I've never seen it on the auction board here so cigarbid may not carry it.

I had quite a few of them over the past few months and I think they are a very good smoke with superb construction. The 1st 1/3 is much stronger than the rest but I highly recommend trying this smoke.

Ok, I stand seriously corrected. Should have said RECENTLY mentioned. Interesting comments. About as varied as they get. Thanks Slim, for the links, and you're right, LMAO at that last one.

I picked up three of the Cetro last week and smoked two of them. Gifted the third out. I enjoyed the med/full flavor.
Have they been mentioned yet? LOL

La Aroma de Cuba are made by the Ashton company, there is a good article in the lastest issue of Cigar Aficionado page 178 with Ashton's president Robert Levin. Good reading.........Scotty

I discovered these about a month ago due to those previous threads mentioned. Now I grab one just about everytime I visit my local store. Great value.
