1) Nicaraguan
2) Honduran
3) Dominican
4) Cuban

I would rather have a Nic. cigar as anything out there. PAM tops the list of all cigars. Cuban is over rated. They were better pre-'98 and now they are back on the rise. I really like the flavor and strength, but too many quality problems. I have had more Cuban cigars rolled too tight to draw than any other out there.

I really don't know.

Most non-ISOM cigar makers blend so many different types of tobacco from so many different places, that it's dizzying.

I guess I love the Dominican Republic, since its home to some of my fav cigar makers, such as Arturo Fuente.

Second for me would be Honduras, since its home to Punch, Hoyo de Monterrey, and a lot of other full-bodied smokes.

Can't say I've had too many Nicaraguans. If I have, I didn't know it.

And of course, Cubans are always good.

Looking in the humidors, I gotta say Nics. I keep buying 'em. They rarely disappoint. I have lots of IT Super Fuertes. And I recently won a box of the Petite Belicoso Maduros for $46. A bargain! Of course I like the CAOs. Padrons, Perdomos, Cupido, Bucs. Man! I likes 'em!

If someone asked me out of the blue this question I would definately say Dominican (I am a Fuente fan), but looking through the humidor I would have to say I honestly prefer Nic's because they constitute almost 75% of my inventory of cigars.

Jazzman..I am surprised that you are surprised. You say NIC by a nose. Did you think that your tastes were out in left field? LOL.

I also LOVE the Nic's, especially the Mayorga High Octanes. But then when you look at the list of NIC's such as CAO, Buc's, Joya, Padron, Oliva that is a pretty good cross section of tastes of the board.

I can't see any of these that I would kick out of bed, except there is more room on the floor...69

I'm piling on with the number that prefer Nics. Toss up for 2nd between Honduras and DR.

Aren't Bucaneros technically Costa Rican? I know lots of the tobacco in the blends comes from other areas though. Also no one has mentioned Ecuador (although I can only think of wrappers - not entire cigars, but there may be some).

I'm not surprised that no one has mentioned the Phillipines:)
