Can any of you tell me where to find Fuente Anejo's for sale? I am looking for No.55's but am not that picky. I am told they were a one time shot, but we all heard that before! I live in Cali. Nothin out here.

I've seen them here in Sarasota, Florida. They were $20 a stick so I passed. I was told they're an Opus X with a Maduro wrapper. The hurricaine a few years ago wiped out their only aged leaves so it will be a bit before full production resumes. I've another web supplier who might have some. E-mail me at [email protected] and I'll give you what information I have. I don't want to be guilty of advertizing for a CI competitor, although CI doesn't carry the things I have gotten.

Hey Slim, I'm cool, I should have surfed the back-log before posting anything, so its my fault in the first place. I did hit the 'Search the Boards' button using the keywords "Beavis and Butthead" and Rookie's name and your name were all that came up.------Thanks for the welcome!

I'm not quite sure what just happened here ... that last comment went over my head. But, if rookie says it's funny, I'll go along with it. All I was trying to convey is that I got my first Anejo 55 in a box pass on another forum, and just happened to get it yesterday ... I can't wait to try it!

Just for the record ... an Anejo is an Opus filler and binder with a 7 year cognac barrel aged wrapper. As I have been told, they were a "one time" thing split into 2 releases. I was also told they are very rare and extremely hard to find ...

The rumor is prevalent that it is a Opus wrapper and binder. However I believe it is it's own mix as prepared by Carlito. I remember reading that it is a mix of Don Carlos/Opus/Etc. It is a unique taste and TREMENDOUS cigar. Rookie....e-mail me. New guy...check out cigarfamily.com

Slim, if I find one you can have the damn thing, as I don't care for any cigars that are "loaded" with booze of any kind! Like to drink my Jack Daniels from a glass( on the rocks )! Charlie

Oh, and furthermore, I do have a Makers Mark Tubed Cigar that a friend thought was "cute" and gave to me as a present! I asked "Where is the bottle of Makers Mark?" The lady in question brought me a bottle of Makers Mark later! Not bad........! Charlie PS Still do not want to smoke cigars that are infused, loaded, juiced or soaked in booze of any kind! OK, Keith and Slim, I opened it up for some Zingers!

I didn't know that they were soaked, infused, etc with booze....I'm not a fan of those types of smokes wither...I just heard that it was an Opus X with a maduro wrapper...Now THAT sounds good!

Sorry Slim, that's what happens when I spend too much time logged-on, I start reading things that are'nt there. Now, back to the Anejo's, They are an opus X filler, The wrapper is not, I beleive, aged in Cognac Barrels, but the wrapper was used to smuggle cocaine into the country with, some of the bundles of powder broke open and that is why they are so desireable. I now have a $200.00 dollar a day habit! Peace.

Charile ... your ignorance is showing again. If you don't have any idea what you are talking about, then it is best not to comment. Just remember ... it's better to keep quiet and let people think you're a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Slim, its good to see you can't take your own advise! All doubt is here and henceforth removed, My "Theory" is about as plausible as your "AGED IN OAK COGNAC BARRELS" for seven years crap. I however was joking, you, obviously beleive your own bullsh*t. So now it is time for Charlie (thats me!) and Mr. Opus to have our own conversation without you. Just in case you can't tell, I have a dry sense of humor, and no, I don't use spellcheck. Sincerly---Your good buddy----Anejo (Rytmes with annashole.) aka Mike

Just to let you know, do a search on the web for Arturo Fuente Anejo's. There is a reason they are called 'Anejo' ... the 'oak barrel' stuff is info I've found on the web and after discussing it with very knowledgeable people at the Fuentes/Newman forums. No offense taken. I wasn't directing my comments to you anyway ...
