Well my friend came back from Cuba on the missionary trip. He surprised me with a entire box of R&J Churchills. What a damn nice cigar and only $50 for the entire box. Reason for such cheap price he hooked up with a local who they have been using as a guide for years and he took him to areas which normal folks can't go and brought out the reaal deal! Also 2 boxes of Montecristos which went to someone else. Oh well, until next year when they go again.

sounds too cheap. Probably made from factory scraps with original bands/box. Certainly did not come from an authorized cigar shop in Cuba. Doesn't mean that they won't be a good smoke though.

I don't want to say they are not Cuban, but I doubt that those are the R & J Churchills that you would buy from a Cuban Authorized Tobacconist. That is cheap! Was the box sealed? Charlie

Long filler and the best damn smoke I have had from there yet. If they are fake, then I will take a fake anyday for this price.

Fake? Your friend was in Cuba, so they are Cuban cigars. Even if they are not "authorized Habanas" so what? You like them and they are from Cuban Tobacco. (Lest y'all think someone smuggled the 'gars INTO Cuba to sell as Hanbanas) Congrats, and let us all in on the deal next time!

All I was implying was that they are probably a knock off made in Cuba. I am sure that they smoke well and are probably as good as anything that we can get on the board, but for $50 a box...........come on! That was all I meant. Aw so I am envious! Charlie

I've had "Farm" cigars from Cuba that are pretty damn good...Can't beat the price, although I doubt they're the real deal, but who cares?..If its a great smoke, that's all that counts

They are 'Cuban', but noone buys RyJ Churchills for that price. They're good fakes.
