Since I found this site in Jan. I've stopped buying from other sites. I don't always get what I want when I want it but I do get it eventually at a better price then I can get anywhere else. Except GCC which I haven't seen up for bid yet. Has this happened to everyone/anyone else?
I recently went on Vac. in S. FL. and found many cigar stores unlike rural Ohio where I live. I felt like a kid in a candy store until I when to the register. Whoa
the prices were outrageous. Now I'm back and getting better prices even with shipping.
Also who's FE from LA he seems to always bid on my favs. Glenn

JJ-I agree with you, FE bids on everything that I go after! I try to keep my limits on price so that we don't get unreasonable, but I to have quit buying from other sites! Besides, it is fun to get a great deal on something and then see it at other suppliers for many more dollars! That Indian Tabac blowout is one heck of a deal, but I am out of humidor space! Charlie

Most of the folks you see bidding on many different types or in large quantities are retailers ... I know a few tobacconists who do this in California because they can get them cheaper than they do from their reps.

Thats because in Cali, there is a 50 something percent tax on stogies, Opus X DC go from $30 to $80 a stick if you can find them. Anejo 49's are $24 a peice. Padron mills $55 and so on. You guys should just send me ALL of your sticks and I'll sell them for ya. I'll have to charge a couple of sticks commission. :0)

Try 67% tobacco tax, topped off with 8% sales tax ... I just found out they raised it another 20%, and there is going to be another hike soon ... cigarette smokers are paying $5.10 a pack now at the local 'Quickie Mart' ...
