Is there a difference? Some sights list the 8-5-8 and others list the 8-9-8...69

I thought the 8-9-8 was Ashton and the 8-5-8 was AF. I could be wrong though.

Try them both and you won't forget the difference.

898, as I recall, was first a designation of how the cigars were boxed. 8 on the bottom, 9 in the middle and 8 on the top. Those are the boxes with the rounded out centers.

Ashton has the line called the 898, a good cigar but not to my taste.

There is also a mfg of cigars made in Jamaica called 898.

I have absolutely NO idea why the 858 is called that, but it is a really good cigar.

There is also a Partagas 898, that comes in either a varnished, or non-varnished box ...

... The Arturo Fuente Flor Fina 858's first two numbers signifies Patriarch Arturo Fuente's age when he passed away ... the remaining number -5- I have not been able to get a difinative answer on ...

Fuente will tell you for $858 dollars....LOL!

The real question is what does the "33" stands for on a bottle of Rolling Rock.
