Was paying for some cigars and noticed some boxes of these on the counter which were unfamiliar to me. Appeared to be brand new so I bought a couple and tried one last night. Dark wrapper in a fat rubusto size. Heavy, thick smoke just a bit bitter/harsh but really very nice...especailly for around $4-5. Great burn and construction. Kind of like a LGC Series R mixed with a Joya de Nic Antano.

Interested if anyone else likes these.

I bought one earlier this week, but I haven't had a chance to light it yet. It sure seems promising though. I'll report back one I have it.

Picked up a couple today too with my allotment of OpusX. Will burn one tonight; wrapper really looks yummy and it had a decent heft to it.

Picked up the Puros the other day and tried one last night. Size was about a 6x50. Nice sheen to the oily wrapper. Prelight aroma to the proboscis detected that sungrown spice I enjoy. Toasted the foot and put flame to it. Very nice perfect draw. I never had to put a torch to it again, all the way to the 3/4 inch nub. Gray perfect ash fell at 2 inches, then again at almost two inches if you count the cone from the previous fall.

I was hoping for more sungrown spice but that's OK. I'me spoiled by VSGs, Antanos, and Camachos. There is enough sungrown goodness here to satisfy. I would classify this right on the edge of being full-bodied. It's complex enough to keep you interested but not powerful enough to KO you like an Antano. I detected a slight increase in strength at about a little on this side of the half-way point. I'm now glad I ordered a 10-pack sampler because the 3 others I have will be gone by then. These should definitely improve with some box aging as all good tobacco does.

This is the first nonHabana Punch I've enjoyed. I don't care for the rest but this gem will find a place in my rotation for sure.

I was going to post a review on this smoke but once again jd hits the nail right on the head :) I couldn't have said it better myself. Great review!
