I am supposed to supply two boxes of cigars. I was thinking I would get one box that delivers a killer buzz and one box that is crowd friendly. Any suggestions?

SmokeyJ, is price a limitation? If not then I would recommend Macanudo Petite Coronas for the ladies and guys who can't quite handle a "manly" cigar, and Indian Tabacs(Toro Maduro) or Padrons(3000) for the buzz cigar. Maybe Punch Robustos or La Gloria Cubana Torpedos if you want to spend a little more! Or go super cheap with White Owls and DutchMasters!!(Only Joking)...sounds like it is going to be a good party. Smokey I don't know if you can find em' but punch/hoyo de monterey seconds are great full-bodied smokes and at under $2 a piece are a great buy. I smoke them daily and have not had a bad one yet

Consuegras?...How about Macanudos (any one from the regular line will do) and LGC Series R's?....Macanudo for the ones that are occasional smokers and don't know a damn thing about what they like and don't like (wouldn't know the difference...The kind of people who smoke just to smoke..We all know THOSE people..Grrrr) and the LGC Series R for those that DO know a good cigar when they see it...Have a good time!

Rookie has given some good options. Remember one thing: people like "fancy looking" smokes unless they are true afficianados. The Sinatra My Way or CT Shade is a well made mild to medium smoke with a name they'll love. Also, any of the Aristoff series fare well with beginners and those just getting their wings. As for the Kick-Ass crowd, an El Rey Del Mundo can throw you for a loop. Mayorga is a good one-size-fits-all type. By the way, what time does it start, and can I bring anybody with me?

Consuegras?!?!? Oh please, they are inconsistent and some draw like you are smoking on cement! I used to smoke those years ago, thank God, I stepped out of that mess! Sorry, but couldn't pass that one up! Charlie PS You can buy good cigars all day long on the bid board for less than $2 per stick and one hell of a lot more consistent.

They are supposedly Punch and Hoyo De Monterrey Rothchild Seconds, but to me they taste nothing like them...Yuck!

Thanks for the advice. I ended up getting a box of aristoff white 450b for the sissys. I was able to obtain a box of authentic Bolivar coronas for the real smokers and a few Brooklyn Blunts for the heavy hitters. The party is in the basement of the Boott Cotton mills in Lowell if anyone wants to come.

The Boott Cotton mills are the ones on the eastern canal, at the foot of John St. in the Lowell historical park area of downtown. They are about a five minute walk from the Dubliner. Did you attend Lowell Tech or Lowell Normal?

University of Lowell. By the way, nothing is a 5 minute walk from the Dub. A five minute stumble, perhaps, but not a walk. Does Pollards still have an acoustic guitar player on Thursday nights? Have you sat on the Ed McMahon bench out side of City Hall? Oh how time flies...!

Tailgater, I have no idea about Pollard's. I do know that the Pawtucketville Social Club is a tough place to join. And yes, Ed Macmahan's bench is still there and a fine place for a smoke...
