Well...actually, one was semi-surprizing and one was a complete shock.
I had a Victor Sinclair Bohemian Cuban Corojo after lunch. As you may have read, I had a Punch Rare Corojo yesterday and wasn't impressed. Now this was a real corojo! Very tasty! But I've heard a lot of positive comments on the Bohemian, so it was only a half-surprize.
Now the Pirate's Gold...THAT was a surprize. It's 3:15 AM right now, and I just got down having a few beers with some new friends here in the dorm, and decided I'd like a smoke and didn't really care about taste. I was buzzing a little, not really expecting much from this cigar, but then I noticed...hey, this actual tastes pretty good! A nice, full-bodied, smooth-tasting smoke. I just read that its made by Rolando Reyes, maker of Puros Indios, so I shouldn't be so surprized. And to top it off, they're dirt cheap! This could easily become one of my regular dailys. I just might have to bid on some.
By the way, both smokes were gifted to me by mrandmrsfox, so thanks for the wonderful surprizes!
Also, how are the Bohemian Revolution cigars? I've been wanting to buy a box, since I'd basically get a free, cool-looking ammo box with it that could be made into a convenient travel humi.
