Just curious. I made several IMHO good buys lately. Here are a few:

nice work eddie, and I don't believe I've offered an official welcome....so....Welcome.

My best recent scores were a box of cupidos at (40% retail). I wanted these for handing out when my baby is born.

My other best was grabbing some LFdO 12 count humis at half price.

Gotta love cbid.

My buddy is great friends with the local tobacconist here. He scored a box of 858 SG for the price of the naturals (roughly $6 a stick). I just bought 'em off my buddy for face value.

The guy wasn't apparently up to date about the avalibility of the SG and let it go. We did gift him a couple ISOMs just to make things a little smoother ;)

You should have been around 3 years ago, there are no "best buy's" any more. 5 packs of Ashtons for 19 bucks ect. too many stupid people, either that or they have too much money. I just saw a 5 pack of Ashton #60 Maduro on the bid board for $41 I can go to the store and buy them for a lot less than that. You can get a good buy on crap like Bad Frogs. Most of the good cigars, La Gloria, CAO, AVO, Arturo Fuente ect. are right at retail.

Picked up some Montecristo and some Partigas Clubs "cigarillos" on a trip to Canada. They're 4 inches long, about the size of a cigarette. A shorty but it's a solid 20 minute smoke. Price works out to about $2 per copy at Canada's outrageous prices but they can be had for half that if one knows where to look. They're small but real tasty and mucho potent. It's an economical way to go for those of us that love Cuban tobacco.

Best deals lately.? Hmmmm Would $25 for a box of CAO Brizila Gol's count.? Thats right $25 for the whole box. SOme One I deal with alot was cleaning house and also made me a deal yesterday on some Montie. Factory 2nds..Lets just say I paid less per box for these than You would pay for Ohh lets say a 10 pack of Pirates Gold in here... It's true yes it's true. I have the Box of Gol's (Or what's left of them any way) and the others should be here Tues. NOW THATS A DEAL.. I had already bought some Boxes of the 2nds from this same guy and been smoke'n on them and they are GREAT.. Ask Chipslave I gave him some when he Visited me a few weeks ago... TinMan
PS: NOW if I could only score a box or more of the 858 SG's reasonable.. And I have feelers out to all the people I know and they are look'n.. Heheheheheh.

Not Cheap, but I picked up a box of La Gloria Cubana Serie R #6 maduro cgars for $108, not cheap but considering I dont see a whole box offered that often or even that price, I consider it a great buy!

Best buy?
Not alot of them, but a few.
My burl humidor for $13 was probably the one I liked the most.
Most times though I just order from CI, as the last few times the oliva grand cameroons went for the same as retail and I didn't have to wait.
There have been a bunch of auctions lately that I've watched where I wanted that I just said forget it and ordered from CI. Paid an extra $5 and got them on 2nd day UPS. Hate to wait for stuff I ordered. LOL!

I have to agree with RobertParrott. When I first came to this site, you couldn't beat the deals. Then I quit coming here a few years ago because I could drive 3 blocks down the street and get better deals retail. For some reason tonight I thought about loggin' in and here and wanted to say howdy if any one remembers me.

Just won some Cuban Parejos for less than $2.00 a stick, I think that a pretty good deal, especially since I see CI sells 5-packs for $25.00.

Last good deal was on a five pack of Bucanero Classico Maduro Robusto for $17. Not too shabby I'd say :)
