I decided to start with this one of the bunch.
It just said, TRY ME to me. :)
At first, it seemed a little spicy, then mellowed with what seemed like a nutmeg taste, with an excellent draw.
I like this one or maybe I am just imagining things. :)

Ahhh yes...the Parti D. Awesome smoke. OK, now bring the other foot on over to "this side" and you'll see there are indeed reasons to smoke the coveted leaf from the ISOM...

Alright!!
Another to add to my list.
It is tough when you are looking at a variety of cigars to choose one to try. To lock onto a really good cigar right off the bat is a treasure. :)
Sometimes though, a cigar like that, you wish it could be just a little bigger or not end. I don't think there was even half an inch left when I got done. :)

Op,you think thats tuff? Try looking at 2 coolers, 5 desktops and 5 or 6 misc tupperdors to try and find that perfect smoke for an occassion...LOL

I know it seems a bit much but it sure was fun getting here!

Careful with the ISOMs. You're now getting into expensive territory. A whole new level!

Uh,
THAT was a WHAT??!!!
OMG!!
My heart just dropped. And I SMOKED IT!!
Now it is gone. I am so sad now.
But it was sooooo good, I just couldn't stop myself.
It whispered in the humidor for me to take it out and light it. You could smell the difference even with it unlit. It just kept saying over and over, "Me, pick me. You won't be sorry."
And I wasn't. My wife says we will have to make a trip up to Vancouver BC after our trip to Las Vegas in November for some cigars. :)

Cool!
I had one before that wasn't that good, it was a Montecristo and I ended up pitching it. I was in Canada some years back and bought it and now wonder if it wasn't a fake.

This one though, was heaven.
From the beginning, it started out so great that I knew it was gonna be a great smoke. I remember the spiciness on the side of my tongue thinking it was pretty good, then it mellowed out a little and did it ever smoke.
A small puff brought a large cloud of smoke. I like that. Not alot of effort to smoke it.
Thanks.

My wife says you are probably all laughing real hard about the guy who is clueless and grabs the first cigar out of a box to be a primo and smokes it down without a clue. :)

Oh well, It was a great experience and I learned something. What more can a person ask for?
I have been fortunate. To find this forum, deal with several vey nice people and learn something new almost every day. AND tomorrow is Friday and I have a 4 day weekend. It just keeps getting better. :)

I have that exact same 'gar (courtesy of emgjet) awaiting me in my humi.

Sounds like a keeper. The only thing is...I hate to smoke because it looks so pretty sitting in my humi :-(

PSD4; Definitely my favorite ISOM. So, like the others, wecome to the dark side. It's always ashame when its over, but the memory lingers on, calls, and teases, and eventually you'll roll over and decide its time for another. Got only one left in my 'dor, think it's time to start looking for some companions again.

Yep, I loved that one when I smoked it on the boat last weekend. I almost lost it...I make up a cigar moocher care package each Friday for my boss who works out of my office that day. I was late preparing it so he walked in my office, opened the humidor, fingered a few sticks and then started to walk out with my PD2...all while I am on a conference call.

Needless to say I tracked his butt down and switched it out for something less extravagant...and then moved all my special sticks to the home humidor.

The Partagas Serie D No. 4 almost always show up on just about everyone's TOP 10 of Favorites !!! And there is good reason for that fact.

I would have to agree with doc; I don't think that I have ever seen anything but praise for these sticks. I loved the first one I tried, and have loved each one since.

I'd like to thank everyone (especialy cwilhelmi) for everything and their comments, I have learned alot on this one.
I still like the Flor de Oliva Cameroons, but this one hit the top of my favorite list.

petertyras,
"Best smoke I have ever had... Once you have one, your spoiled forever."

Peter, I can see how that could be the case.
BTW, did you get the Flor de Olivas?

peter,
No worries. I owed them to you.
My e-mail has been giving me fits. I have been receiving 500 e-mails a day with those virus e-mails.
So I have to sift thru and find the ones that are to me. Some get lost in the mess. :(
Thanks bud.

BMW,
"Partagas SerieD No.3E.L"
Dog gone, another one I am going to have "search and smoke"? Thanks for the heads up on another one. I will keep an eye out for it.
Sometime after November I am going up to Vancouver BC, so hopefully I will get to try some much sought after cigars.
