Have you tried one? I've been wondering if it's just overhyped because it's "pre-embargo" - like that means it's automatically the best money can buy. Seen a few mixed reviews.

Ethan... I will set one aside for ya when the box pass comes around and you can decide for yourself. I personally like 'em and I can usually get them for a reasonable price. Certainly not an everyday smoke though... :)

How do they compare to the Pinar pre-embargos? I am often tempted by these things because one of the best smokes I ever had was a Lars Tetens #7 which was made with pre-em tobacco. Around here the general consensus seems to be the Gurkha-pre's don't live up to the price.
