Has anyone here tried the Amoroso's? I know they are an exclusive ******** brand ... but the Torpedo #1 (4x60) really intrigues me. Comments by those who have tried these (good or bad) would be greatly appreciated ...

"Made for ********by Nestor Plasencia is rolled using rich, properly aged Cuban-seed varietals that give his cigar it's full-bodied tasted in the Cuban traditionof Cohiba". Taken from cigar descriptions at:

Never had one myself though, and yes they look good!

Had one the season before last (that's FOOTBALL season, ya know). It actually wasn't half bad, but as the saying goes: there are better smokes for the money. Thought it was smooth, and rolled quite well for a "T" product. Not much in the flavor category to comment on. Consistent and smooth, a good newbie smoke. Typical mild Dominican. Hope that helps.
