The matchups for Week One have been sent out to all those who've signed up for the pool ... about 2 dozen of the players have returned their picks to me ... our pool is larger this year than last by some little bit and I'm extremely pleased that it includes several players who've been regular readers of this forum, but have for one reason or another, never posted here. It's gonna be nice to have the chance to get to know them as well as they know some of us ... LOL

If there's any more of you who want to join the play, let me know ASAP ... you can join on ANY week, but it's not yet too late to join for Week One (if you act quickly) ... with the # of participants we've got this year, there'll be a significant 1st place pot as well as worthwhile 2nd and 3 place pots ...

Completed pool for Week One will be sent out shortly ... we've got more than 40 participants this week which even at a single cigar each adds up to one hell of a nice prize pot ...

Hey all,
I'm one of those guys in the pool who's been reading the forum, but haven't participated much. I look forward to participating and getting to know everyone, and also pulling in some major quantities of cigars when I start winning each week

Man, I hope that statement doesn't come back and bite me in the a**. So I better cover it a little... good luck to everyone in the pool and I hope it will be funn for all.

Well, I don't claim much in the way of 'seer' qualities myself, but my crystal ball IS pretty clear on what the reactions will be to your sending a Bad Frog or Lone Wolf ... unless, of course, it's Rickamaven who wins the pool ...
