I had a good friend and coworker that passed away this week at the young age of 58. I'm going to smoke one the best I can find in my humidor to celebrate his life.
He was a musician at heart but due to a "nasty habit of hunger" he became a printer (a sorry trade for a paycheck, lol). He kept the level craftsmanship and artistry alive in printing. He was still connected to his friends in the music business and was a great source of information to me.
He was an intellectual of sorts and had a few political cartoons published in the Wallstreet Journal. I'll miss him very much.
So join me in a smoke tonight and think of all the people that have made a difference in your life and celebrate thier lives.

Barry and X, I'm sorry for your loss. It does help bring things into perspective. Our days are numbered, we live, we die, we try to make a difference. Life is too short, way too short for these two friends. Cherish the day, live life, don't be content to exist, plan, dream, do.

Barry and X,
Sorry to hear of your losses, and I pray for strength for your family and above all, the family of those who lost their loved ones. I'll pull out something special as well.

Thanks for all the kind words and X, I share in your loss.

I smoked my last Cuban 1998 Punch Churchill this evening. What a smoke, perfect for the occasion of remembering and celebrating the lives of those who have touched us.
