Yes, but it depends on the quantity. Check the regulations for sending mail to Canada at the USPS website. It's pretty specific. 7 oz. tobacco duty free if purchased. $60.00 Canadian value if a gift...but check to be sure. If you are sending full boxes, the taxes can be very expensive. Are you in Canada, wanting to order from the U.S. or in the U.S. wanting to ship sticks to Canada?

I regularly ship to BC and Ontario.
Gifts or promo products is the least costly to the recipient.
Be careful what you list for cost and what it is.
Personally, I would list them as consumables or treats.
Customs can and have opened boxes to verify that the value is marked appropriately.
To be honest, I would find someone close to the Canadian border and ship them from over the border.
There is a 1 in 10 chance that it ain't gonna get there. :)
I have had to fill out a verification of value on something I sent, that they felt the value was more than I has listed.

Thanks, 0. I'd like to take credit, but it wasn't mine. limoric used it and I think it may be an oldie. Glad I could pass it along, though.

I stole the Idea as well. Forget from who. Maybe Maven or TinMan. Oh and you guys are sooooo funny. Customs only opens the packages if the description weight and size don't co-inside. I have recieved about 15 boxes from C-bid and around 10 from trades and bombs. Only 2 from C-bid were opened all the others came through no problem. Descriptions I've recieved include, Birthday card and candy $20, B-day card and Chocolates $30, B-day gift Watch $50 and wedding candles. I once recieved a box that had cigar smoking happy faces all over it, that wasn't funny. Never never put tobacco of any kind or amount or value, they will charge duty.

Above is for USPS. If you send FedX or UPS, the package will never be opened. My wife has temped at a customs broker. All small items under $5,000 are automatically cleared assuming it fits the discription and is declared to be below $60 dollars. The packages don't even pass infront of a customs agent, it get's unloaded directly at the shipping Co. warehouse at the Airport. Good info to know for when I have a certain item shipped from Spain.

I bet the US works the same. The Co. my wife temped for is American.

Nice, Lim. I'll keep that $60 in mind.
