I have been going to a local bar on Tuesdays for $2 U Call Its and bringing a few smokes to enjoy. This week, I started with a CAO Black Gothic and Glenfiddich. As I was opening the Otter Box, the three young guys sitting near me seemed interested in what I was doing. I offered them a Principe (La Aurora scraps) and they shared it (they didn't know what they were doing, and a Principe is a good tasting cigar for a small short filler). Throughout the night I learned they just got back in from Iraq. They declined sharing in more cigars, but I did express my appreciation to them.

I continued to drink my straight Maker's Mark (don't trust the bar unless the drink is straight). I then kicked in a Pimp Stick and really liked it. Of course, this was about 5 whiskeys in.

Afterwards, I had my free AVO. It was very mild yet flavorful. Good construction.

I gave away another Principe to a guy who was a little old to be chasing tail. But oh well.

I ended the night after being cut off (last week, they cut me off at 13...this week, only at 8!) with my last Principe.

I love Tuesdays!!!!

Yeah...wouldn't mind chasing some tail. But given that I'm 285, bring home about $1200/month, drive a 93 Escort with no AC...

...who the hell am I kidding?

I just like to sit and watch the dog chase his own tail.

Billyjackson, I've considered buying the Principes here on CBids once, but passed them up.

I'd first seen them in a rival cigar store's catalog (the ****ty competitor that's name starts with a T), and they tried to say these were only recently released for sale outside the Dominican Republic because they were so good...blah blah blah

But they never mentioned they were machine-made, and I didn't find that out till I saw them on CBid.

So are these a good daily? Or, like other MMs, are they only good for smoking when you don't care what you're having (i.e. getting drunk)?

For crappy dorm food, the coffee they serve in my food court is surprizing good! Not bitter in the least, and they're usually good about keeping it fresh.
