Dammit!!!

I am so going to be sending out cigars this season! What the hell is that Houston/Miami business? If things go anywhere near like that the rest of the season, I'm gonna be dried up by the Big Dance.

Can I put myself on injured reserve?

Well, as Yogi is reputed to have said ... the game's not over 'til the fat lady sings ...

Ducati COULD finish in first place ... could also finish in third ... or worse ...

PHI vs TB ... tonight ... win, place and show all hang in the balance ... no fewer than 7 guys are still in the running ...

The way i see it...

Well, i see four people with 11 correct picks and going for Philly tonight giving them a possible 12 correct picks:

BearDown (23-13)
DrHathaway (28-21)
Yours Truly (RasDas)(24-18)
SteveS (17-14)

And i see 2 people with 10 victories who are going for Tampa tonight who could end up with 11 correct picks:

Huskey (21-14)
Perdomo Seleccions (17-14)

So SteveS is quite correct...its not over 'till the fat lady sings...

I hope it is true what they say, "It is better to give than receive" because with my picks I am going to spend allot of time at the P.O.!!!!! HaHa

RasDas was correct in his assessment with the exception of the fact that Ducati also had 11 correct ...

However, as he so accurately pointed out, Perdomo Seleccions and Huskey had TB in the MNF game while the rest of us had PHI ...

Using the scores to break the tie, Perdomo Seleccions was closest to the actual final score with Huskey in second and yours truly in third ...

Instructions as to who each of the other players is to send prizes to and what that person's snailer is will be out tomorrow as will the matchups for week two ..

And sorry to Ducati for not putting him on the list of probables...

I did a simple Edit/Replace and his NYG/STL game had NYJ...so when i replaced, it did not put a 1 there....

Good week Ducati...

I'm going to make all my picks next week and switch them all, it would work out better than this week.

Last year, one of the guys tried picking games that way ... he went with underdogs and longshots, making the rest of us wonder what the hell he could possibly be thinking ... then, after he won the pool that week, we wondered what the hell brand of crystal ball he was using or whether he might have some sort of insider knowledge ... LOL

I'm not going to get that scientific. I'm going to go with my gut on the picks, then reverse 'em.
