I had one of these the other night. Not sure of the line. I've received some in trades and had them resting for a good while. It was a toro in a shade wrapper. I've been suspicious of these cigars. The bands look so damn hokey! And they are Dominican. Are they not? As it turns out, I enjoyed this smoke! It was mild but complex. Lots of smoke, kind of creamy with some nice spice. Very good!. A perfect even burn. I would compare it to a Punch Gran Cru. I guess the auction prices are justified.

I was undecided for a long time on how I felt about these cigars. Like you mentioned I feel that they are relatively mild with a complex flavor. My initial reaction was that they were too bland for me, but after smoking about a dozen of these (master select line) I have come to appreciate the mild-complex flavor and it has become a good choice to have earlier in the day with an iced coffee. Are they worth the price? Probably not, but if I find then at a good price here at CBID I would be happy to have some more.

I tried one right way after the shipping arrived and did not like it at all, then after letting them rest a month or so it was a whole new ball game. Very nice mild, I like the pre-embargo one more but they usually get pricy around here

I got one in a trade and thought it was a solid mild smoke. I won several 5packs of Master Select and Ltd. Exp. Series Toros...I look forward to having another in a month or so and also letting some rest for a while.

Really like the master select line, very creamy.
Have some expidition toros resting too. I'm still undecided on the the expidition line. Had two with construction and burn issues.
