We all had a great time today at Avon, IN.

In attendance were myself, George (wbslingr), Mark (mrkmitch), Mike (indymike), and Eric (merlin9052). Not as many showed up as we expected, but we had a great time. As far as I know, godfather didn't make for monetary reasons, and JustDanD apparently is having throat trouble (hope you're getting better).

I myself had three new smokes (for me, at least): A Montecristo #2, an El Capitan Peg Leg (my first Bucanero, ARRRRRRR!!!), and a CAO Extreme.

George's big suprize was...a buttload of free smokes! Jon@CAO hooked us up with a tupperdor completely full of CAO Gold, Maduro, Criollo, Extreme, and Cameroon (all we were missing was the Brazilia and Mx2, but I think the sheer amount of cigars makes up for it), plus we had a box of Cuesta-Rey SG and of Trilogy Exotic Maduro! Plus, CAO hats, polo shirts from the store that hosted our herf, free cutters, free matches, and even free Heaven Cigar beer cozeys, lol.

I met and traded with some great new friends today, and we're definitely doing it again! Pictures from the herf should be up soon.

Besides the gars that Dan mentioned,we also received a box of Cuesta Rey SG,And our great friends at CI/CBid sent a very nice sampler of CAO's.Again my thanks to George (webslngr) for pulling this thing together and thanks to CAO,CI/Cbid,J.C.Newman,and Heavenly cigars for the great freebies!!
Met a few new friends and got to smoke more cigars in 5 hours than I ever have before!!
To those who couldn't make it,Hopefully next time!

Awesome herf, guys! I'm glad you had the donors' participation to get it kicked off right. That should keep the Indy Herf's going until I can get there. All that smoke would have torn up my throat more than it is right now, but I miss it anyways.

I am glad to hear you guys a great time. I know George did alot of leg work trying to get the cigars for the herf , Fantasic Job George.
I am glad to see everyone had a great time. Maybe we should work on getting a herf together with the east coast boys and the Indy guys. Let me know what people think about that idea.

I would like to say a BIG Thanks to everyone that attended the 2nd Indy Herf. I really tried to make it special. I hope everyone had fun and enjoyed meeting each other.

I would also like to thank Each of the companies that contributed to the HERF including jon@CAO and CI. They really came through for us. I guess I can't say

about that hat jon...

anymore. I would post the other companies but I want to be sure that it is okay. I want to thank our hosts. I will be posting pics all day. On my site and on Cbid. Be on the lookout, except the law. Please disregard any picture posts of mine. :) I also thank ropeman for sending me the visual aids in the lesson we had on Fake cubans. He is a great guy and helped me get in touch with a few of the companies that donated. A true friend and BOTL.

Thanks again everyone. I look forward to the next one and the possible start of a club?

Sounds like you'll had a great time! I look forward to joining you for the 3rd Indy Herf.

I hope you keep the fake and real Cohibas handy to show at the next herf. I want to look and see what the differences are.
