Some time ago, someone said that they sent in their Xikar cutter to be sharpened (per their lifetime guarantee) and Xikar sent them a new one. I thought "What? New? Are they crazy?"

Well, after 2 full years of faithful service, mine also needed sharpening...and yes, my friend...I was the recipient of a brand new cutter.

Good service.

But now that I think about it, should I punch or cut? And what about the cello?

(I kill me sometimes!)

Nice to know Billy, mines about that age also.
If you use your xikar, you can clip with the cello on. If you're smoking at night, leave the cello on, great visual.

Either cut, with or without cello ... doesn't matter ... just be sure to take the cello off BEFORE you light the cigar ... LO

(oh, btw Billyjackson ... I sent no fewer than 6 e-mails to you re: the football pool this week ... do I understand you got NONE of them?)

And regarding the original topic of Xikar cutters ... I got a nifty little leather case from them too ...

Gentlemen...

1) the punch/cut/cello comment was a joke
2) Steve...not a one...don't know what the problem is, but I received no emails.

Without a doubt XIKAR has the best customer srvice of any of the cigar accessory companies I have ever dealt with. Case in point I purchased one of their new Mean Sardine cutters(9.99) and without a doubt the SHARPEST blade of any inexpensive cutter ou there. After two week it broke apart and I contacted them. Without hesitation brad in their customer care division told me that they had a few not many reports of that happening and sent a new one out that day.

So you see that not only stand behind their higer end products but ALL their products

All companies should be so helpful. Kudos Xikar

FROM THE XIKAR CZAR HIMSELF

Thanks so much Mark. Please post this reply for me, (since I'm not a member).

Thanks for the kudos, guys. We started out making a great product in my garage. Now, I am convinced that customer service is at least 1/2 of our company success!

Best regards, Kurt
