I've done 4 tours to that region for my Country in 1996, returned home then 1997 getting ready to redeploy I tested posative for TB... so didn't 9 of 13 guys in the unit who deployed the previous year...I took the Medication for this 9 months after returning home in 1997... I have a Cronic Sinus problem so doesn't about 500,000 other military vets who've been to that region since the Gulf War 1991 ended to date...and many more will come home with the same... in 1999 I did a tour to Saudi Arabia... PSAB... I returned home and since was diagnosed with Irritable Bowl and Chronic Fatigue... my last and probably Final Tour was in 2002 Operation Enduring Freedom... We Bombed the living **** out of Taliban in Afganistan!!!! I am still deployed in my Eye's because I left on this tour 100% physically fit... and I have returned home bating 50%... I've been diagnosed with BPH Chronic Prostitus... I go in October 8th for Neuromuscular Evaluations... this may seal my Fate as a Military Fighting Member...at 39 with 18 yrs Military and I'll tell you myself I'm a Proud,Cocky, Straight Forward **** to some who don't know me...at times I wish I had never takin on the last mission but to be honest I would do it again in a Heartbeat!!!! my Wife knows this the best... (She say's I Love the Military more then I do her) the Fact is I Love America and it's about!!!! and I'll fight to the Death for it's souvernty!!!!!

yep your Right... we Differ on GWB... I Personally think he's not a "Yes Man" although I think he's surrounded by allot of those types... especially the one's giving him the information to feed out to the public...on events like WMD in Iraq... again it was right there in my Post... he didn't Lie to the Military members... any Military Member who's been in long enough to know about Iraq or do tours to that Area know the Threat is/was real!!!! and any Military Member who joined because of the events of 911 know the real reasons why we're at the extended existance of the Military Today!!!!

So I answered, and threw the exact same question back with a different time frame. Don’t get all pissed off and start categorizing liberals as only caring about what goes on at their doorstep when I simply answered the question and returned a question within the same parameters. I’m not a moron and I realize there have been other attacks against America, even though they were not within the US.

You mentioned the Anthrax which was an obvious attack but let’s not forget the shoe bomber guy, and the countless other scares and raises of the terror alert level. The main brunt of my point was that GWB didn't swoop down to prevent any other bad from happening to the citizens of the US, 9/11 itself made the US protect itself regardless of our president.

One thing to consider is that to date we've lost nearly 300 soldiers and more than 1500 Iraqi civilians. And just this week GWB came out and said there were no clear links between 9/11 and Iraq. We were told that there were WMD in Iraq that were a clear and present danger to the US, well if they were so dangerous, where the f*ck are they? They can’t be too dangerous if we can’t find them; even though we should all believe the gov’t that they’re there. Another thing to consider is this, if we haven’t found them and they were so dangerous, wouldn’t they still be dangerous? Shouldn’t we find them so he doesn’t use them? And if they were so dangerous, why didn’t he use them to stop us from rolling over them??? It just doesn’t make sense, and this very issue is coming back to bite GWB, and it’s the same issue that’s losing him 2004…

Not to Stir any thing up But I have a thought..
First off I'm Not a Fan of GWB's Politic's (sp) But I do think he has done a pretty darn good job at handling this so far with the Info and intel that has been presented to him. Point 1. He does have to rely on what intel he is given after all he can't go running over there himself and check things out..
Poiint # 2. What if now that Ol' Sadam has and did in fact make every thing Look as if he really did have WMD when in fact all the time he did not.?? Now I know what your going to say but stop and think about it ,it wouldn't be to hard to fake someone out using empty containers and marked trucks to make anyone watching think you had some thing that you infact did not have would it.?? After all we are talking about a person with a really twisted mind here..Now if that were the case would GWB or any one else for that matter be wrong after having Pic's and routes and times and dates all documented showing these things being moved and handled doing what ever it takes to make sure this country and others are safe.?? Now even if we don't want to or don't like to think that we can be fooled the Plain fact is anyone can be fooled and just because we are the USA doen't mean that we are any smarter or any sneakyer than any one else.It is a possible action that could have happened in which case should we not as Americans with a system of laws in place at least give GWB or anyone else in his spot the benifit of the doubt until or unless it can be proven One way or the other.??
