Hey Guys,
Many of you regulars know that I work weekends. So if I post, at all, on the weekends, it is late at night, or early in the mornings.
I have recently had some problems, with my feet, that is causing extreme pain. I have not called in sick, or slacked my duties in any way. Though I have been relying on my prep chef, to do alot of the running, that I usually do. My boss saw me today, applying the prescription cream, to my feet, and sent me home. I usually spend 12-14 hours a day on my feet. My boss has told me not to come to work, until I am completely healed. This sucks, as that means that I must curtail my cigar purchases, for the next few weeks. But I guess my feet will heal faster, if I stay off of them.
So LOOK OUT.
I'm here for awhile.
By the way, I just needed to vent, as I am a little pissed at my boss, even though they have my best interest, at heart.

LOL Russel and Ethan,
I will be fine. The doctor assures me that my feet will fully recover. I think she overreacted, when she saw my feet, though they do look gnarly. It's a good thing I have plenty of smokes, go too much time to smoke them, and having to stay off my feet, keeps me from doing much else, smoke eat, and oh yeah, drink, and maybe smoke some more, then drink, and eat, and smoke some more. Damn I am going to gain a little weight, before the holidays. Whats going to happen to me after the holidays???? My feet will pay for their healing, by being punished with extra weight. LMFAO

Hey Marla,
Just a few weeks, if everything goes well. No need to send anything, just that my bidding has to stop, until cash flow is restored. LOL I think I have enough sticks to make it through. Thankyou so much for the offer though.

Dave,

You have my best wishes for a speedy recovery, but not too speedy. You deserve a little time off.

Besides, what will you do with all of those cigars if you were working 12-14 hour days? Smoke them while you have the chance!

That maybe so,
I could use the rest and relaxation, I should look at the bright side. Unless I can get a couple of friends, to move my kegfridge into the office, with my humi, I can't stay off my feet. LOL A pint of stout, and a JDNA1970, may just ease the pain, of missing work.

Hey Hog,
sounds like your, prescription, is much more plesent, than the one the doctor has for me. After application, my feet feel like they are on fire. Also, the white vinegar baths, before treatment, burns pretty good, as well. But it seems to be working. It seems that my main problem, was my job. I would get it almost under control, then go to work, and have it flair back up. I just felt, that by taking time off, I was letting my boss, crew, and patrons down. I even went in this morning, just to make sure things were ok. Then got chewed out by my boss, for being there. So I am back, being a good boy, following doctors orders, hanging out taking it easy, feet propped up, smoking a good cigar, flor de cano tubo, and sipping on a homebrewed, IPA.

Trbl w/your feet? That's gotta suck... What can you do without your fee? Unless you're in a chair? I mean no disrespect for anyone who is not ambulatory. I'm just saying, MAN! I hope it's something they can fix. I hope it's fixable and fixed soon.

Hey Robbie,
I believe with a couple of weeks, off of my feet, I should be ok. Will see the doctor again tues. for his prognosis. You never really think about them, your feet, until you cant use them, or at least diminished capabilities. At least I can still smoke cigars, and drink good beer, while off my feet. And it's kind of fun, rolling around in the wheelchair, a friend of mine has loaned me. Didn't have to move the kegerator after all.

Dave,
Are you a diebetic?
Sorry to hear about your feet. I've broken both feet and broken one leg and broken a knee cap. A portion of me knee cap is now synthetic. LOL!
Take care of your feet. It is surprising how you don't realize how much of a pain it can be when you can't move around like you used to.
Hope the best for you.
Take care.

No Opatience,
I am not diabetic. Just spend way to much time on my feet. I do an entire weeks work, at least in hours worked, in three days. On my feet most, if not all of that time.
Robby,
Sounds good. I love a good brownale. I made one with walnuts, in the primary, one time.

Dave,

Sorry to hear about feet. Enjoy the time off, it sounds like you don't get too much of that. Put your a$$ down on the couch, have a smoke, drink a beer, and watch the Cubs in the playoffs.

Regards....Rocco

Dave,

Sorry to hear about your feet. I hope you're up and walking pain free very soon.

On the good side, you'll have plenty of time to go through Coma's box pass. Hmmmm.... Too much time could make for a lot of changed decisions.

Hey HarleyDave,
Thankyou for your concern. I have been assured, by the doctor, that I should, be up and around within the next 2 weeks, but will have to take some precautions, to keep this from happening regularly. As for Coma's box pass. With a box pass, I generally go for cigars, I have never had before, are hard for me to find, or that I just Love. Once I make a decision, on a cigar, I usually don't change my mind. It's kind of like my trips, to the local tobacconist. I go in there, planning on my regular purchase, those little unbanded perfectos I keep sending as bonus sticks, and 2 -3 gars, I haven't tried before, or a treat. But once I pull a smoke, from it's box, and put it in my ziplock, I don't pull it back out, because I saw another stick I wanted. I might just take it as well.

Note to self.. be like Dave when taking cigars out to smoke. I ALWAYS have trouble when I open the boxes and see all my precious little smokes.
