California Governor Debate

Chris, I think the Government does care, and it does matter to me and many other business owners in this state. Many businesses have left or gone out of business, because of the regulations and workers comp situation, just to name 2 reasons I can give many more if you need.

I think even Davis cares. But Davis doesnt seem to have the answers to our problems. Thats why a recall is taking place, not because of a power play. The largest state of the union is in trouble, and needs to make changes NOW!

When businesses leave the state, the Governor should be a concern. And thats because the lack of revenue gets even worse the way its going now. The people still here have to pay even more taxes to make up for the people that have left.

You are talking about a Republican power play, I'll never believe that. Business owners like me WANT A CHANGE! You wouldnt understand our reasons cause you are an employee not a busuness owner. You dont have the same perspective as I do.

You may be smart, but that doesnt make up for experience in life. And besides that how long have you lived in this state? I was born here and know how it used to be many, many years ago. It was better for business and education.

I've been a registered voter in this state before your mommy and daddy even conceived you. When I started my business you still had one finger up your nose.

Dont preach to me about this state or its current laws and regulations that effect business owners. Without guys like me, guys like you wouldnt have a job. Small business is one of the most important topics in this state.

Also, when I was a kid California always ranked in the top 5 states as far as test scores went. Now I believe we are in 27th place. Thats gotta change too. Its not all Davis fault there, its been on a decline for many years. But it needs to be looked at too. And just throwing money out there isnt the answer.

Alright, I feel better now. Had to get all that off my chest. Chris, I'm sorry if I seem too hard on you. But I'm very passionate about this topic. Nothing personal. Hehe, even the finger up your nose line is for affect only!... ;>)

Screw this!

Hey how about those A's & Giants! Hope its a Bay Series. The Giants face the Marlins on Tues!

The Raiders are looking better this week. Or should I say sound better. They didnt sell out, so I'm watching the Giants game and listening to the Raiders game on 'Real Audio NFL Game Pass'!

The Niners had their asses handed to them earlier by Minn. I loved it!

You gonna make it to next weeks herf Chris? If so, I'll see you there. Enough debating this weekend for me. I'm out!!

I was just at the Giants Game, it was awesome. I got to meet Vida Blue and get my picture with him. And Mc Hammer also stopped by our suite, which was less exciting...

I remember watching a game when I was a kid and Vida Blue got beaned bad in the head, spun around and collapsed.
It's amazing he wasnt killed.

He was actually really cool, we talked about how MC Hammer pissed away all of his money(after hammer had left) and some of the other sports notables who've done the same.

I got a great picture with him also, when I get it back I'll post it!

Chris...Ol Hammer isn't doing to bad any more. He sure pissed away his dough. His fault is that he was eternally generous. He paid bills for everyone who asked him. Gave his friends every cent they asked for and never listened to a business manager.

I played softball against him and his team in a softball league in Fremont. When you play ball with him, his name is Stanley. After the game, the trunk of the Mercedes opened up and a huge supply of beer, sodas and expensive drinks appeared.

Once Ricky Henderson came by to watch Hammer and his team play. It was kind of cool. He was still in his heyday, but very much a normal guy. Funny, we didn't know who he was until we played his team and people kept asking for autographs.

BTW...nice threadjack.

This recall is going to cost over $70 million, what a great use of our money while we have a deficit...

Every day in CA, the state spends 29 Million MORE than it takes in. EVERY DAY! So dont make like 70 million is a big deal. If it corrects the current financial situation, it will save Money!
