Jesus Test~
This is an easy test, you score 100 or zero. It's your choice. If you aren't

ashamed to do this, please follow the directions..

Jesus said, "if you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father."

Not ashamed Pass this on . . . only if you mean it.

Yes, I do Love God.

He is my source of existence and Savior.

He keeps me functioning each and everyday.

Without Him, I will be nothing.

Without Him, I am nothing but with Him I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.

Phil 4:13

This is the simplest test . . . ! If you Love God, and are not ashamed of
all the marvelous things he has done for you.

Send this to ten people and the person who sent it to you!

Enjoy!!!!

Your Mind, I Said!!!!

You have an Absence of God in your mind Rick... but you don't have an Absence of him in your Heart!!!

100 for me on the test...

0 for thinking it is profound, clever or an effective evangelical tool.

But what the hell do I know?

ON second thought...

I think that's one of the problems with Christianity today (and throughout history)...it forces serious matters into a bipolarity that just isn't so.

Can someone love God and be a little (or a lot) scared to proclaim it publicly...sure...does that mean they are not a Christian? I'd hate to think so.

Issues of life, faith and even scripture are not black and white polarities...they exist in reality as matters of degree. But when pressed with only two options far apart with no middle ground, we often force people to be liars when choosing.

So to rescore myself...ON TRADITIONAL CHRISITIAN CRITERIA...I probably score around 60-75 or so...probably less according to fundamentalist circles. Hell, I wouldn't even score myself at 100!

But again...as usual...

...what the hell do I know?

I guess I score a big fat zero ...

... only because I will not, nor have I ever, sent 'chain letter' email to anyone ...

I consider it a form of 'spam' ... and all it does is tie up bandwidth and clog the email servers.

If by "God" you mean my source for Cuban cigars, shipped intact and authentic, then I score 100.

Otherwise, if by God you mean the big, long-haired and bearded white dude who routinely harshes the mellow of folks trying to have a little fun, I actually scored a 47.

I believe in God, I pray, I go to church on Sundays. I make mistakes, I am not perfect (lmao the list of people who agree is long), but I do NOT send chain letters. By not sending this it doesn't mean I am ashamed to admit anything, I just don't do it. Just my .02 worth Rob

John, whats up with this?

I QUOTE: "Otherwise, if by God you mean the big, long-haired and bearded white dude who routinely harshes the mellow of folks trying to have a little fun"

You know, for being a person of supposed higher learning, and an influence to young people, you always try your best to insult people.

Remember, YOU are in the minority on the issue of 'God or no God', which is fine with me. But why cant you accept others beliefs, without the tasteless comments?

p.s., Mike, this is not my classroom. Just like it is not your garage. So we can talk/write differently. What is so hard to understand about that?

John

You dont know why its tastless because Christ means nothing to you. But if you took a poll of Christians, I would wager that 100% wouldnt like your supposed humor.

Your right John, we arent in your classroom or in my shop. But, we are both in here with other BOTL. Many of them are Christians. Isnt that good enough reason?

No Prof. not if there was prayers going out to them. For this Reason, I would know for a fact you would not get 100% Non Christian votes!!!!

Put my 100% against yours and mine will easily outnumber yours. Not even close. But I'm not going to continue arguing with you, because, I'm not going to let Hogs thread go downhill due to your ignorance. Goodby...

Some Christians have told me that if I don't worship Jesus then I am not a believer. Same mentality carried out during the Crusades.

If you believe in a higher being, you believe in G-d in some form or another. Even if your belief is in martians, you still give credit to a being more in control than your mortal self. Therefore, you are a believer.

Be His name Jehova, Allah, Yaweh, Buddah, Jesus or Fred. You cannot score a zero if you believe. If it is just a Jesus test, and not believing in Jesus makes one a zero...than so be it.

Even those who choose to believe or not to believe will eventually find out if their own truth is correct when they pass on.

Belief in a higher being is like having everyone look at a cloud and tell you what image they see, like a dog or dragon or whatever. Rarely will there be two of the same answers. There will be those who try and show others what they see and get them to agree. There will be those who see something and enjoy what they see and what others see. And there will be those who just see a cloud. No one will ever be absolutely right or wrong. There is no way to really know.

I'm a J.C. zero. PS....I don't pass on my beliefswith intent to recruit or rate level of belief. I just enjoy my philosophy and share my view free from intent.

I know some Muslims who are much better people and much more Godly than many of the Christians I know... I didn't know they were Muslim at first. But they spoke to me about their faith. It was really very touching. There are bad Muslims and good ones, there are bad Christians and good ones.
