I just got home from the Simon and Garfunkel "Old Friends" concert. Awsome! They didn't sell out, but you couldn't tell that from the way the crowd reacted.
Everybody especially went crazy when they did "Bridge Over Troubled Waters." These guys can still do fantastic show, when they stop fighting that is.
If you get a chance to see them, I strongly reccomend you go. It really takes you back.
Also, the Everly Brothers were there as well and sang some of their stuff. Was too young to them then, but they were great, too.

You're really aging me...ah, The Everly Brothers, Don and Phil. I saw them in concert when Wake Up Little Susie and Dream were both on the top 40 charts. I still remember some of the words.

Wake up little Susie, Wake up. Wake up little Susie, Wake up. We've both been sound asleep. Wake up little Suzie and weep. The movie's over, it's four o'clock and we're in trouble deep. Wake up little Susie. Wakeup.... Whaddya gonna tell your momma, whaddya gonna tell your pa, whaddya gonna tell your friends when they say, ooo, lah, la....

How'd I sound???

I was amazed when I heard Simon and Garfunkle perform recently on TV. They sounded as good or better than they did thirty years ago. I was told by a sound engineer that it was very likely that each was, in all likelihood, miked through a pitch maintaining device like a harmonizer. The electronics kept what the listener heard on key and in perfect harmony. Whatever they used, the music was superb.
