OK, so that was another misleading message.

How 'bout them Marlins?!?! I can't freakin' believe it. If these guys take down the Yankees, I am going to hit the streets with fire...the fire of one of my small stash of 1970s Dunhills.

I really sweated out the 9th inning. Looked like it was going to be a Yankee comeback, breaking Marlin heart. But, no.

My son slept from the 5th inning on. I am convinced that he was concentrating all of his energy on forcing a Marlins win. Good boy!

I'm not comfortable yet. A win in Yankee Stadium will be hard to come by. But I know one thing: I'll be watching.

JDRABINSKI, FIRST OF ALL - YOUR MISLEADING SUBJECT LINES DO NOTHING BUT PROMOTE CONFUSION AND CHAOS TO THESE BOARDS AND IS AGAINST THE RULES - PLUS YOU ARE BASHING ONE OF OUR BELOVED BROTHERS - PISS ON YOU AND ALL YOU STAND FOR!!!!

ok, I'm kidding too - man, what a game! I love how every one of the Marlins is pitching in and giving their all - and what about Pudge? This guy should be thanking God every day that the Rangers were stupid enough to trade him - this is the best thing that's ever happened to him - and he's really shining now! I was really bummed when the sox and cubs were out, but I'd love to see the Marlins win this!

I understand that the television ratings for this series have not been what the network had hoped for. I've enjoyed the games, but would have to stand on my tip toes to care who wins.

Yeah, Texas, nice move...surely his career is 'over.' Great for Pudge, though, and he's a helluva guy. Deserves every bit of this.

I would give anything to see the Yankees go down. That's all I wanted out of this series...until I watched the Marlins play. They are damn fun to watch, fearless and 100% all of the time. I hope management keeps them together.

Go Beckett! I saw him pitch when he was in high school. The poor kids who hit against him! Sad sight.
