what happened to "never pay retail again"? Does anyone look up prices on stuff before they overbid? Granted, I've gone a little higher than box price for five cigars I wanted to try, but I usually look up the price of something before I bid on it to make sure I'm not paying too much For instance the El rey humidor sells for $89.99, 50/50 solution sells for $7.00. People you just bid 101.00 for the el rey and ten dollars for the solution. Just a little pissed. I miss the good old days when you could save a buck and someone didn't hog all five lots of a cigar you bid on at a lower price.

(approaching hoofbeats). The people that overpay help to subsidize the people who get rock bottom prices. It's the nature of the beast. Cigarbid would go out of business if "everyone" got rock bottom pricing. I say we all need to thank the overbidders. They are the unsung heroes of the auction world. I salute them.

Hurray for the over-bidders. Joe, the bid you're looking for will come up again. Be patient and you will probably catch it at a better bargain.

Lets not get political, but it is the nature of supply and demand with a little uneducated bidding! Charlie

"hey Joe...where you goin with that gun(and butter) in your hand".....If you have a Sam's Club in your area, they have a damn nice 150 capacity humidor for $59. If not, do some surfing....some nice "deals" out there. Good luck.

Right on about Sam's Club. I have a friend that buys them at Sam's for $60 and turns around and sells them for $140 at his cigar store. That's the good old American way. Keep watching, you will get it for the price you want to pay sooner or later. Good luck!
