I’m sure most of you have heard about the Iraqi… correction… Saddam’s torture tape. I’ve just seen it and wonder where the outrage is? Now I’m not here to argue the fact that America “should” have waited for UN resolutions… but where is the outrage over this tape?

America goes to war and people were outraged and protested our empirical ways. “Peace lovers” were outraged that we’re slaughtering innocent civilians. Movie stars were outraged because America had no right to interfere with the affairs of others.

Now we are seeing people getting beheaded in public, dropped off of buildings, fingers cut off, wrists being broken and numerous other things…. but where is the outrage?

Go to www.nytimes.com and this story isn’t even on the homepage, but a story about Democrats “prevailing” to block a Bush nominee is.

Go to www.latimes.com and this story isn’t even on the homepage, but a story of US soldiers “rampaging” Afghanistan is.

I tell you where the outrage is…. Right here.

Foxnews.com

One more thing to add to the list of horrors. This tape alone is enough reason to dipose Saddam and his ilk. The worste thing is you know this is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. MK

Well, I saw a report of one of the locals over there selling computer disks showing the type of violence and disgustingly cruel punishements/torture that his people were subjected to under the evil rulers. They are trying to spread the word. I am surprised that those computer disks have not made their way into mainstream America yet. Why have they not publicized the horrendas(sp?) acts perpetrated by the evil leaders of that country?

I know what I think it is, but I'm waiting to see what others have to say about this.

everything considered....It's Ok with me if the never find WMD...call it an error or mistake...there is no doubt in my mind the threat was taken and acted on in good faith...plenty of additional reasons to get rid of that ****...its about his proven willingness to use them and to stop at nothing that justifies the war to me and I will support GWB in this orther other efforts ...that cancer must be cut out...no more Nevil Chamberlins or his ilk for me..phenix
